Current Issues in Language Planning (ISSN 1466-4208), published by Multilingual Matters since 2000, provides major summative and thematic review studies, and book reviews, spanning and focusing the disparate language policy and planning literature related to:
The polity numbers describe language planning issues in various countries/regions/areas around the world, while the issues numbers are thematically based.
The journal does not normally accept individual studies falling outside this thematic approach. Polity monographs and issues focus papers in this journal may be self-nominated or invited contributions from acknowledged experts in the field. Papers are anonymously reviewed by two independent assessors.
